How we build it
Next.js and React for applications, Astro for content-heavy sites, TypeScript throughout. Data in Postgres or SQLite, payments through Stripe, hosting on Vercel or Cloudflare. Nothing exotic; everything load-bearing.
Work happens in the open. You get a staging link on the first week and watch the thing come together, so feedback lands while it is cheap to act on.
At launch the repository is in your GitHub account, the hosting is in your name, and the database is yours. There is nothing to migrate away from us.
Questions we get asked
What kind of web development do you do?
Software that runs in a browser: customer portals, dashboards, booking and membership platforms, and marketing sites that need real functionality behind them. We build on Next.js, React, and Astro with TypeScript, and wire in payments, authentication, databases, and any third-party services you already use.
How is this different from website design?
Website design is for a site whose job is to present the business and get people to contact you. Web development is for when the site has to do something: log people in, take bookings, show a dashboard, process payments, run a workflow. Plenty of projects start as one and grow into the other.
What stack do you use?
Next.js and React for applications, Astro for content-heavy sites, TypeScript throughout, Postgres or SQLite for data, and Stripe for payments. Hosting is usually Vercel or Cloudflare. We pick tools that have been stable in production for years rather than whatever is new this quarter.
Do I own the code?
Yes. The repository lives in your GitHub account, the data is yours, and if you ever move on there is nothing to hand back because it was never ours.
