How we started
Before we took on a client, we built Peak, the platform we run the business on: contacts, proposals, contracts with e-sign, invoicing, and the pipeline that finds new work. We did it because renting eight tools that did not talk to each other was worse than building one that did.
That is still how we approach client work. Understand how the business actually runs, build the one thing that hurts most, put it into daily use, and grow from there.
How we work
You own everything.
Code in your repository. Domain in your name. Hosting in your account. Data in your tables. If we disappeared tomorrow, nothing you paid for would go with us.
You talk to the people doing the work.
There is no account manager between you and the person writing the code. Questions get answered by whoever knows the answer.
Scope is written down before work starts.
What gets built, what it connects to, how long it takes, what it costs. One document, agreed up front, so nobody is surprised later.
Boring technology, on purpose.
We use tools that have been stable in production for years. A business should not depend on a framework that gets rewritten every quarter.
